With the iGrow 800 Controller, you can Use Modbus to Share Weather Station readings amongst all the controllers within the network, as well as view multiple controllers via Link Conn 100
When Setting up Modbus, you would first need to network (Hard Wire Link) all of your controllers Communication Modules together in a daisy chain fashion, the first being the BROADCAST controller (which the weather station would be installed on and if using Linconn 100 the controller you would tie /pigtail your PC to) and the remainder of the controllers being addressed as REMOTE controllers.
Once you have hardwired your network, its time to program the controllers accordingly.
When Setting up Modbus, it is important that each controller gets properly addressed within the modbus settings of the controller to include:
Modbus Communication / Modbus Address / Network Name.
Once you have finished your programming, simply reset the controllers one by one, leaving the BROADCAST one as the last controller to be resetted.
