100 Series LinkConn Issues

 

My LinkConn Software cannot see my controller.

SystemSetup>CommunicationSetup>MODBUS

In Modbus settings

  • Modbus communication:  Remote or Broadcast
  • Modbus address:  1 – 242 if you have more than one controller use different numbers
  • NetworkName:  make sure controller has a unique name (not Zone #1)

IP Address settings  (all must be valid.)

  • input address
  • subnet mask
  • Gateway

 

Serial Cable Testing

  • Use tone or continuity tester
  • 1 is B Position on the Comm Mod
  • 2 is Red
  • Download driver at FTDI

 

On the web browser address bar, type in the assigned IP designated for controller and you will be able to control you device from the web browser using your mouse pointer to control interface.
