If the user encounters a 3-minute Timeout Error, the system switches to a backup plan, which is called the Fallback Setting.
In this, the system defaults to predefined settings for Heating or Cooling stages to maintain the desired temperature range of the greenhouse.
The system can attach Alarms and Sensors accordingly to monitor these temperature conditions.
The Fallback Settings are activated if the user Enables the Sensor or High Alarm. In both scenarios, the system checks the InTemp, but if the user Enables the Sensor, the system bypasses High Alarm conditions.
Sensor This feature is used if there is an InTemp sensor failure and you want the controller to fallback into utilizing the backup Sensor (OutTemp, or other temp sensor you have defined in the Setup Inputs section). By choosing the fallback option to Enabled mode, the controller will automatically detect an InTemp sensor failure and fall back to the backup Sensor. If Fallback is Disabled, then there is no action to utilize a backup sensor and the Pearl will engage the Force to condition.
Force to In case of a Fallback failure scenario, or if Fallback is Disabled, the third level of safety is to force the Pearl into any stage automatically. In the example screen above, the Pearl would engage whatever equipment you have assigned to be ON under NORM conditions. Pearl User
