iPonic Connectivity with The Cloud Troubleshooting process

THIS PRODUCT HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED AND REPLACED BY THE PEARL CONTROL SYSTEM.
Please follow this process in reestablishing connectivity between your iPonic Controller and the Cloud.
 
1st
Check your IP Address Setup and make sure your ip address scheme is populated.
(IP/SUBNETMASK/GATEWAY)  In the IP Address Screen make sure you haveit on AUTO DHCP
2nd
Then Check your Server Setup Screen and make sure the Key is populated. If either are blank  (=), of if you cannot connect to the cloud, proceed with the following steps to reestablish connectivity.
Step 1
Unplug your Ethernet cable going into the Communication Module
Step 2
Reset the iPonic (red reset button inside the controller between toggle 2 & 3
Step 3
Go to the IP address Screen and make sure your Auto DHCP MODE IS DISPLAYING BLANK INFORMATION.
Step 4
plug in the Ethernet Cable into the Ethernet Port, you router should populate IP Information within minutes
This signifies that your Controller is connected to the Router and should now be viewable from the Cloud.
If this does not work please follow the proceeding steps to ensure that  your network is talking to the iPonic
Please take the following steps to make sure we are covering all aspects of the process of connectivity
 
STILL NOT CONNECTIVITY
 
*****WITH THE IPONIC POWER UNPLUGGED****
a.  Please check and see if the Communications Module is properly seated on the circuit board

*****WITH THE IPONIIC POWER ON*****
b.      Check and see if the Communications Module light is ON when you plug in the Ethernet cable into the Port
c.       Check and see if the Ethernet cable is properly connected to the Router (Ethernet straight cable works --- Ethernet cross over cable will NOT work)
d.      Reset The Router (unplug for a few minutes)
e.      Reset The Controller ( inside the controller/on circuit board/between toggle switches 2 & 3 / press the RED reset button
IF THIS DOES NOT WORK
 
f.      Using the same Ethernet cable going from Router to The iPonic plug it into a PC or Laptop and see if you get Internet Access
 
 
1st  If you can get internet access, open the web browser, and on the address line type:   Whats my IP
This will DISPLAY your public IP address for that specific locationPlease forward this IP to us so we can investigate. 
 
2nd  FROM SAME COMPUTER COMPUTER  ON THE SAME NETWORK can you access http://iponic.link4cloud.com/
 
 
3rd FROM SAME COMPUTER COMPUTER  Please provide Network Communication Details  
(please take snapshot and email support@link4corp.com)
     Control Panel->Network & Internet-> Network Sharing -> Local Area Network -> Details (press Button)
this will display all the variables necessary to resolve connectivity between iPonic & Cloud
