iPonic 624 AC Wiring step by step

With The iPonic 624, you can hardwire your 2 ACs directly to the PCB if the AC devices MUST HAVE A LOW VOLTAGE INTERFACE  & BUILT IN THERMOSTATIC CONNECTIONS to achieve this.

iPonic is a Low voltage contact closure -- MUST HAVE A THERMOSTAT TERMINAL AND A 24V DRY CONTACT

iPonic 624 Installing an Air Conditioning Unit

​To convert your #7 and #8 outputs to be utilized for your Low Voltage Interface for your AC Units you would do the Following:
  • Power Down Controller
  • Remove Black Jumpers (2) going from -6 to -7 and -7 to -8.
  • Re-position Red Wire from -8 and re-insert it into -6
  • Remove and independently Cap +7 (purple wire) & +8 (grey wire)

And that’s it.

For 2 additional

  • Remove and independently Cap +6 (orange wire) & +5 (yellow wire)
  • Re-position the Red Wire from – 6 to -4
  • Remove black jumpers (2) going from -6 to -5 and -5 to -4.

2 Outputs Converted

This process allows you to make available outputs 7 & 8 for hard wiring Low Voltage Interfaces.
