iGrow1800 - Programming Temperature Stages

With the iGrow 1800 you can program temperature stages to control your greenhouse environment.

You want to use the Staging worksheet in the manual pg 6 to determine how many cooling and heating stages you will need.

Now to get to the Cool/Heat Stages programming screen from home screen, hit Enter/Menus -> then go into System Setup -> and then highlight Cool/Heat Stages and hit Enter/Menu.

On this screen, you will select the maximum number of cooling and heating stages that you intend to use.

The up and down arrow keys are used to increase or decrease the amount of stages for cooling and heating. If, for example, you select 2 heating stages, then in the remainder of the programming only 2 heating stages will be displayed

The third selection is the Stage Width. This is the number of degrees between each of your stages, sometimes referred to as “Stage Separation”. Typically, users select either 1 or 2 degrees.

Once you have chosen the amount of stages you are going  to use, you would then need to enable and assign your equipment to the different cooling/heating stages, this is how it works, for example HAF fans (Cool1) Exhaust Fans (Cool2) AC (Cool3), so as the temperature in your greenhouse increases and the controller goes into the increasing cool stage modes, it will turn equipment on systematically, but as soon as the temperature decreases and falls out of a cool stage the equipment assigned to the stage will turn off.

Here is a LinkConn 1000 View for programming your Cool/Heat Stages, which a provides a more simpler control view.
