iGrow 800 Sensor Jumping issues

iGrow 800 Sensor Jumping issues

Please take the following steps in troubleshooting your Temperature Probe.
·        iGrow 100 Series Sensor Troubleshooting

- Check connection’s inside junction box (if one exists) for moisture or corrosion

- Check the PCB for corrosion, moisture or contamination build up.

- Check the line that leads to that box for cuts or any damage which will affect the sensors readings.

- Check for wire any interference sources (voltage, motors, inverters, etc….)
- Cycle equipment ON and OFF and see if Sensor Reading appears or Stabilizes

- Check the power supply P/S and see if dropdown voltage AC to 12VDC is accurate.
     - Since incorrect voltage can discourage the logic within the device.
- Try powering iGrow from a different circuit entirely (extension cord across the way or an inverter) and see if the sensor stabilizes

Sensor Reading Jumping Around and not constant.
Do troubleshooting steps first – when it JUMPS that indicates some type of Interference.
·         Try toggling OFF outputs 1 by 1 until all are OFF to see if sensors STABLIZES.
·         NEXT, toggle them ON to see if a power change creates fluctuation.
·         Try powering iGrow from a different circuit entirely (extension cord across the way or an inverter)
·         If controllers are Daisy Chained to one 12V source, try powering 12V independently. With an additional P/S
·         How longs the Sensor wire  (150ft max)
·         Who spliced the wire?
·         Is the shield grounded?
IF ALL ELSE FAILS THERE ARE 3 OPTIONS AVAILABLE
-          Use a shielded cable
-          Install a filter PCB at the iGrow
-          Use a digital temp/hum sensor
