From the iGrow 800 Controller you would hit OK->System Setup->Expansion Setup->Enable/Disable Expansion (button#1) scroll to enable and hit OK->and then press Configure Expansion (button#3).
In the Expansion Board Configuration Screen you want to use the UP (button#5) DOWN (button#6) LEFT (button#7) RIGHT (button#8) to navigate in this screen. You want to highlight ADD NEW BOARD, hit OK, then scroll to 4 OUTPUT BOARD, and HIT OK,
NOTE: You want to make sure your COMM is displaying “OK”, and all info on line is correct, to add additional boards move cursor in board type column down to ADD NEW BOARD, and add additional boards accordingly, when finished hit the home key and when prompt to save hit OK.
Once your Expansion Boards have been enabled, its time to program your additional expansion outputs.
Now from the Home Screen you would hit OK->System Setup->Equipment Setup->Expansion Channels and then hit Channels 1 -8 (Note: 1 thru 8 is expansion boards 1 & 2, 9 thru 16 is expansion boards 3 & 4, etc.…)
In the Expansion Equipment Menu, the outputs are displayed Chnl x1, Chnl x2, Chnl x3, ect.
For Example, with Chnl x1 Highlighted hit OK, and this brings you into Chnl x1’s Equipment settings screen, you would then proceed with programming like you would any other piece of equipment, initial settings to set equipment type and name, Timed Override Option and Staging for Temp and Humidity can all be done from the Equip Settings Screen.
We will name Chnl x1 – Heat, hit HOME, and then when prompt to SAVE hit OK.
Once you have programmed your Expansion outputs, from the Home Screen by hitting the HOME button you will be able to view your additional Expansion Channels and the state the equipment is in. as well as toggle from button, Auto/Force on/Force off.
