iGrow 800 - Curtain Programming Tutorial

Curtains requires 2 consecutive output channels.(1&2, 3&4, 5&6, 7&8). The first channel (odd numbered) must be wired to Uncover/Open Curtain, and the other (even numbered) to Cover/Close Curtain.

Curtains can only be programmed starting on an odd channel.

The Curtain can be programmed for the Day and Night mode. By pressing Buttons #1, #2 user can to go to these options. The duration for the start of each mode can be set using Set Start/End Time. User can select this option by pressing Button #5 and then OK.

Note:  It is recommended not to overlap your Day Mode and Night Mode Times, here is an example of Day Mode and Night Mode Programming Times

Day Mode 7AM to 5PM - Night Mode 5:05PM to 6:55AM

Open Close Time: It is the time taken for the curtain to go from full covered to full uncovered mode and vice versa. By pressing Button #3 user can to go to this option.

DAYMODE SETUP CURTAIN OPTIONS

Light Threshold: In case a light sensor is present , the light threshold value at which the curtain should shade/ cover. By pressing Button #6 user can to go to this option.

Set Day Mode Cover %: is the percentage the curtain will cover when the Light Level goes above the pre-set threshold, by pressing #7 you can set the cover percentage value.

 Reopen Delay Time: the time delay when the Light Level value goes below the pre-set threshold after which the curtain can again be opened. By pressing Button #8 user can to go to this option. Wheel can be used to increase or decrease the values

NIGHT MODE SETUP CURTAIN OPTIONS

Shock Protection: Selecting a shock protection mode helps in opening the curtain slowly, preventing it to open all at once and thus preventing sudden temperature changes.  
Press Button #2 to go to night mode setup option. Then, press Button #6 to go to this option

Set Nigh Mode Covered % is the amount by which the curtain should be covered during your night time period, pressing Button #7 user can to go to % covered option. Wheel can be used to increase or decrease the value

The day mode and the night mode start and end time can be set to an absolute value using the screen as shown or to a sunrise and sunset value.

To Change Time you would press Buttons #1,#2,#3,#5,#6.

Astro Adjust or Sunrise and Sunset, you must first set up the location (Latitude/Longitude) in Location Setup.

OK->3. System Setup-> 5. Location Setup

Note: The sunrise and sunset values will correctly calculate only if the location coordinates are entered correctly.

Once you have set your curtain settings, simply hit back or the Home Button till you are prompted to save and then save your settings.
