iGrow 400 Communications Information

To wire your Controller for LinkConn 100 Software, you would do the following:

After you have Hardwired your Installation, you must program the controller and the PC to communicate 

FROM THE CONTROLLER
SystemSetup>Communication Setup>MODBUS
 
In Modbus settings
·        Modbus communication:  Remote or Broadcast
·        Modbus address:  1 – 242 if you have more than one controller use different numbers
·        Network Name:  make sure controller has a unique name (not Zone #1)
 
FROM THE PC
1st install the Software on the PC you want to utilize it from

  • Go to device Manager and get the Port number for your USB to SERIAL Adapter
  • You will need this to input into your iControl settingsThe iControl communication port must match the  USB to Serial Adapter Port assignment in DEVICE MANAGER
