Input is the Analog Location that your Soil Sensor is wired to

Threshold is the Volumetric Water Content Level you want your soil to be.

OffTime is the Time in-between watering’s.  it the Volumetric Water Content of the Soil Sensor reading is lower than the threshold, the output will water for the ON time and then turn off for the off time duration, than back ON until the VWC is above the Threshold level.

The key is knowing both when and how much to water!

Maintaining a healthy soil moisture and water balance is essential for producing high quality plants.

  • Under-watered plants suffer from nutrient deficiencies, stunting and wilting.
  • Over-watered plants are more susceptible to disease pressure and less tolerant of dry conditions later on in their life cycle.
  • Extreme over-watering will suffocate the plant and lead to root death.
