iDrive 300 - Thermal Overload Testing

If your iDrive 300 Thermal Overload is always tripping it is time to look at a few things.

Compare the Motor Running Current Draw with the Size of the Thermal Overload that came with the iDrive

 Most AC Motors have on there Motor Spindle a Plate that display all pertinent information voltage/Amperage/Phase

You can always use an Amp Clamp to measure the Start up and Running Current that is being drawn from Motor.

 you can always increase the allowable current by simply turning the ARC dial Counter Clockwise
