iDoser - Peristaltic Pump Setup Ratio Mode Slave

With the iDoser there are 4 Pump Types:  Supply - Peristaltic - Batch  - Balance

To Program your Pump to be a "Peristaltic - Ratio Mode Slave" (Follower) you would do the following:

Now from home screen hit Enter/Menu -> Program Equipment -> Enter/Menu to highlight output #in left Corner ->NEXT to highlight the NONE, + to expand NONE, + till Pump is  highlighted->BACK button hen hit next to Highlight Pump Type -> + to get to  Peristaltic then hit NEXT

Now there are 2 types of Pump Modes:   Volume or Time, + to toggle between the two, Highlight VOLUME hit next.

Now The Pump Flow Rate depends on the pump, now the value is important if you want an accurate measurement.  Now there's three types of pumps Link4 provides:  

Knight Pumps:  300 ml/min | Honelight Blue:  200 ml/min | Honelight Orange:  500 ml/min

Once you have determined what pump your are using and have knowledge of its flowrate, you would enter it as follows:

On the following screen, you will set the Ratio Mode:

REFERENCE Mode:  if you want your pump to work individually 

SLAVE Mode:  if you want your pump to work as a Ratio to another pump.

Note:  You cannot make a Slave Pump unless existing Reference Pump is programmed.

The Slave can be a 0.1 to 99 Scale Factor.

Since pump 2 (output 5) is a reference, we will make Pump 3 (output 6) a slave. please view this example

In the following screen you have:

Injection Volume is Ratioed to the pump its following (for example Pump 2's Injection Volume)

Mix Time can be adjusted

Max Injection is also Ratioed to the pump its following.

Once you have set you have set your Mix time, hit next to get to the beginning of the programming.

Note:  The following screens are viewable REFERENCE Mode and not viewable when you set your pump to SLAVE Mode.  The Slave Pump will follow the Reference Pumps following programming Screens

When finished programming you will hit the back button 3 times to get you to the HOME screen.
