With your iDoser, you can Calibrate your EC/pH Sensors as well as the built-in temp sensor of the EC probe.
Now the 1st option is which sensor you wish to calibrate
with the field highlighted, +/- allows you to navigate thru different sensors.
Once you have your sensor, you want to calibrate highlighted hit Next which brings you to the Tank Assignment Field.
The following field is the Transmitter board the Sensor is wired to.
With the EC Probe we will do a 1-Point Calibration.
1st, you will need to set your reference value which will be specified on your Conductivity Solution sample bag. with field highlighted +/- increases/decreases the numerical values.
2nd, open the Conductivity Solution Bag and pour solution into a sample cup, then put sensor in the solution, stir momentarily, and then wait for a raw value to settle on the Raw Value Line/Field of the programming screen, you would then hit next to highlight Calibrate, and then hit (+) to Calibrate the EC Sensor.
Once Calibrate displays "Calibrated"
If your finished hit back 3 times till you get to the home screen to save your settings.
If additional sensors are to be calibrated hit next till you highlight the 1st field in Reference 1.
with the (+) button you can toggle thru the 3 types of sensors you wish to calibrate
Next we will calibrate the pH Sensor we will assign the Tank and Transmitter board first.
Hit NEXT till you highlight Reference on the Reference 1 Screen
With the pH Probe we will do a 2-Point Calibration.
Reference 1 screen with 4pH solution - Reference 2 screen with 10pH solution.
For the 1st Stage pH Calibration the Sensor has 4.0 pH solution attached right out of the box. so the raw value has already been settled. You will still need to set the Reference value at 4.0ph, you would hit next to highlight Reference and then hit + to increase or decrease the values.
Once you have set the Reference value of 4.0ph you would hit NEXT until you highlight Calibrate and (+) to Calibrate the pH Sensor, when done, the screen will display “Calibrated”
Hit next to get to the Reference 2 Screen and in that screen you will need to set the Reference 2 value at 10.0ph, you would hit next to highlight Reference and then hit + to increase or decrease the values.
Now for the 2nd Reference Calibration you would open the 10.01 pH Solution Bag and pour solution into a sample cup, then put sensor in the solution, stir momentarily, and then wait for a raw value to settle on the Raw Value Line/Field of the programming screen, you would then hit next to highlight Calibrate, and then hit (+) to Calibrate the pH Sensor.
For Temperature Calibration, use the EC probe since the EC probe as a temp sensor built right into it
You can also do temperature compensation for temp sensor in the EC Probe. From the home screen you would hit Enter/Menu->iDoser Programming -> EC/pH Settings -> Temp Compensation ->
In Temp Compensation it gives you the option to change between tanks as well as transmitter boards.
For the Mode we want to change it from Manual to Auto by simply hitting (+)
Here is a view of how you would Calibrate your EC/pH Sensors with LinkConn 1800 Software which provides a simpler control view.
