The Configuration Menu is your safety net for saving, restoring, and resetting your controller’s setup. The primary and most reliable method is saving and restoring through the Cloud, but you can also use USB or the controller’s built-in flash memory as additional backup options.
This is the easiest and most secure way to manage your controller’s setup and provides safer storage, quick access, and remote recovery. Here is the step by step guide:
Login to your cloud account
Select “zone” and go to “sites”
Click on “equipment setting”
Then select Zone Configuration > Save & Restore Setting
You can save your current configuration to the Cloud.
Restore it directly from the Cloud whenever needed.
Save your current settings to a USB drive.
Insert a USB stick when prompted.
Select Backup Configuration in the menu.
Your settings will be saved as a special .exe file.
Load a saved setup from a USB drive back into your controller.
Insert the USB with the backup file.
Select Restore Configuration in the menu.
The controller will load those saved settings.
Save your setup directly into the controller’s internal flash memory.
The Pearl has internal flash memory.
When you save your setup to flash, it writes all your controller’s current configuration into that memory.
This means if the power goes out or the controller restarts, your settings remain intact.
The only time you would lose them is if you manually reset to factory defaults.
Make sure you previously saved a config to flash (via Backup Config Flash).
(Recommended) Save your current setup first (Cloud: Save Config, or USB: Backup Configuration) so you can go back if needed.
Restore your setup from any backup—Cloud, USB, or Flash.
