Firmware from the Cloud

Firmware

Go to http://iponic.link4cloud.com

On the Cloud webpage, click the support tab and on the top left corner is the iPonic firmware update.

To Check Firmware

  • Ok>System setup>Advance>more (button #8)>Controller version
  • check with Link4 support for the latest version
  • Save the config files & growth schedules before upgrading or all previous data will be lost

Upgrade/Restore Controller Firmware

  • Insert USB into port inside the controller case.
  • Menu->System Setup->6. Advanced-> More->button 4 for Bootload (have USB in)

2. Create a folder named PRG , and then put the firmware file iponic_1_8_1_0_BL.bin into the folder

3. Insert the USB stick into controller and follow provided instructions to upgrade.

  • OK> System Setup> Advance>6.BeginBootload  (then you will see a couple of pop up screens)
    • Default setting “NO” | Begin bootload “Yes” | Ok to Confirm

A successful bootload will look like the following:

BOOT LOADER REVISION B|FLASH OK|FS INTIALIZED|FILE FOUND|VALID CHECKSUM|WRITE COMPLETE|VERIFY COMPLETE
