When you select the Dehumidify/Humidify option it takes you to a screen that lets you program the equipment for each of the four humidity override states.
● DeHumidity Stage 1 (DH1)
● DeHumidity Stage 2 (DH2)
● DeHumidity Low Temperature (DHLT)
● Humidify (H)
DH1 - is engaged when the zone’s humidity reading is immediately above the ‘High’ humidity setpoint, i.e. the zone is too humid.
DH2 - is engaged when the zone’s humidity reading is above the setpoint by 5%, i.e. it is VERY humid.
DHLT - is the dehumidification state that is engaged when the outside temperature is below a user settable parameter (for example, in the below screen, when the outside temperature is less than 52.0ºF AND humidity is above the humidity setpoint, the system will go into the DHLT stage), i.e. it is too humid AND it’s cold outside.
H - the Humidify stage is engaged when the zone's humidity is below the ‘Low’ Humidity Setpoint, i.e. the zone is too dry.
Note : in the Channel Settings, for On/Off equipment, a “1” indicates that the equipment is to be turned On in the override state. “0” would indicate that it is to go Off. "- 1" indicates that the equipment is not to be subject to the override. (note -1 on controller -- on cloud)
For proportional devices, a percentage open for vents and a percentage closed for curtains would be entered for the override. For vents, the percentage open is a “minimum” value. For example, if the vent is open to 30% because of cooling, then when the dehum state is active, the vent will stay at 30%. However, if the vent were closed, and the DH1 state became active, the vent would go to 5% according to our example

in the Global Settings you have the option when in a Dehumidify/Humidify state, to have your equipment cycle ON & OFF, In the example, a Max On for 5 minutes and a Min Off for 9 minutes is programmed. This means that if the humidity is above the target, the dehumidified state will cycle on for 5 minutes and off for 9 minutes. This adjustment is subject to On/Off cycling. If you want to turn off the dehum cycling, then just set the Min Off to 0. If during the On time, the humidity drops below the target, the dehumidification state will end and the equipment will return to normal temperature control. The Heat Boost is another means of reducing the humidity. You can automatically increase the setpoint by the amount entered. The final entry is the outside temperature below which the Low temp DeHumidity Low Temperature (DHLT) stage is enabled. From the example, when the outside temperature is less than 52F, the exhaust fan will be turned off and Vent1 will go to a minimum of 5 % open.
