Cloud Setup  ---  (IPONIC ONLY)

With the Cloud, the user can see their controller with any web browsing device (pc/iPhone/Android)

1st REGISTRATION:  Open a web browser and go to www.iponic.link4cloud.com.  Click the register button located in the upper right hand corner.  Complete the necessary information on the form & select the register button on the bottom.  Next, check your email to for conformation and be sure to click on the confirmation link to complete the registration process and to activate the account.

2nd GET KEY & SERIAL #:  On the iPonic, go to SystemSetup>CommuniationSetup>ServerSetup

From this screen, write down the serial number and registration key.

(If key is not displayed power unit down| reinstall comm mod./45 cable/and go thru the setup process again…..)

3rd ADD CONTROLLER TO CLOUD:  Return to the cloud site and log on.  Click “add a controller to your account” link Enter serial # & registration key and click “Add Controller”.

 

No email confirmation email to the customer during registration process.

Check your spam box.  If nothing has arrived, please contact the support department.

 

CLOUD ALERTS/NOTIFICATIONS  – Emails Only – NO Text messages.

Can I use a static IP Address?

  • You can manually assign an IP to your iPonic; you just have to make sure that it is a valid IP Address.

 

No Registration Key (Double Cursor)

  • Check the internet connection; take a picture of the Server Setup Screen so Link4 can verify your Serial #.

 

NO IP Address displayed when Ethernet plugged in.   In auto DHCP mode  (0.0.0.0 displayed)

  • Is Ethernet light On?  NO (bad comm. Mod ) Yes (proceed as follows)
  • Reinstall COM Module using the proper process
  • Have them check their network connections and make sure the Ethernet cable there connecting is Internet Viable
  • Have them ping (Cmd Line the IP) and if its timed out or host non existent then its not connected to network properly) There needs to be a reply……if not, COMM Mod is defective
